I went 3-2 last week which was annoying because both the teams on which I lost (Giants and Cowboys) had their starting quarterbacks get hurt. The Redskins were in the game, and Daniels was playing well, and with the Giants we’ll never know because it happened on the first series. In any event, I still felt better about that slate than Week 1, and I like Week 3 too.

Week 3 Picks:
Seahawks -7.5 at Redskins — This is a big road line against a feisty team with a competent backup QB, but the Seahawks’ defense has picked up where it left off last year, and the offense is good enough to pull away late.
Steelers +3.5 vs Bengals — The Steelers offense is abominable, and the Bengals defense has gotten a big lift from Dexter Lawrence, but this STILL feels like too many points in this rivalry in Pittsburgh. Don’t ask how it happens, that’s not important.
Dolphins +11.5 vs Chiefs — This is a massive road line, and while the Chiefs looked great against the Broncos at home, they were ordinary against the Colts. A trip to hot, humid Miami on the east coast, a game they’re expected to win easily against a desperate Dolphins team that’s been embarrassed? I’ll take the points.
Saints -3 vs Raiders — The Saints went toe to toe with the Lions in Detroit and beat the Ravens in Baltimore. The Raiders are off to a good start, but this is the easiest game the Saints have had, and it’s at home.
Ravens -3 vs Cowboys (Brazil) — The Cowboys got their win last week, but the defense is poor, and I don’t see how they slow down the Ravens. Dallas should move the ball too, but I expect the Ravens to pull away.
