Circa Millions
Week 18
I’m not gonna lie — I half-assed this, not that whole-assing makes a huge difference when it comes to picking ATS. It’s not about effort, but feel, but if you don’t pay close attention, it’s hard to have much of a feel.
My overall record this year — I just looked it up — is 42-42-1 through 85 games. A nutless monkey could post that record throwing darts at a board, so it’s not necessarily better to be .500 than 32-52-1. That’s just a monkey with bad luck.
That’s all I really have to say. I went to Vegas, I paid the $1000, I studied the spreads, I made my picks, and this year I wound up .500, pending Week 18.
Here are this week’s picks:
49ers +1.5 vs Seahawks
I’m rooting for the Niners, their offense has been a pleasure to watch. The Seahawks are ugly and annoying. That probably means you should take the Seahawks, but the 49ers are at home and getting a point and a half. (This was my fifth choice out of five.)
Colts +10.5 at Texans
The Colts have nothing for which to play, but Riley Leonard will try his best in this audition, and I expect the team to show up. The Texans defense is great, but the Colts will run it a lot and probably turn it into a slugfest.
Patriots -10.5 vs Dolphins
This is the exception to my rule of taking the team that’s going home against the team with something to play for in Week 18 as it looks like the Dolphins might sit their whole team with Jaylen Waddle, De’Von Achane and Darren Waller banged up. The first two might play, but I could see them getting pulled early. Plus this is a Miami team going into a cold weather venue in January.
Steelers +3.5 vs Ravens
This is probably the sucker side, but it’s essentially a play-in game, a massive rivalry, it’s in Pittsburgh, and the Steelers are getting more than a field goal.
Redskins +4 at Eagles
The Eagles are resting everyone, so I’m taking the Redskins who probably care about leaving 2025 on a high note, even if Josh Johnson is the QB.

Hope you finish on a high note as well!
