I bought an entry into the NFFC Playoff contest. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s a four-week long pool wherein you pick 12 players per round (no more than one per NFL team initially), and the orginal players you pick score double points in the Divisional Round, triple in the Conference Title Games and quadruple in the Super Bowl. (If you pick a player with a Wild Card Round bye, he obviously gets zero that round, but automatically starts out with double points in the Divisional Round.)
The keys are twofold: (1) Nail which teams are going to the Super Bowl, so you get the quarterbacks (or other high-scoring players) on those teams; and (2) Be mindful of rostering lesser-owned players because the contest is similar to DFS in that you need to differentiate yourself to win.
With those parameters in mind, here’s the initial draft of my team:
