I did the Stacker_Sports, part of Stacker_News, draft last night. It was a 12-team, half-PPR, QB-flex league, drafted on Sleeper. The crazy thing about the draft is it was set to 30 seconds per pick which made for a frenzied pace where it was hard to keep up via your cross-off list.
Stacker_Sports leverages the nostr protocol over which you can send sats peer to peer and of course post messages, long-form content, whatever. It’s essentially a parallel, peer-to-peer, permissionless internet, that in my opinion, is the future.
I drew the second slot — here are the results.
.2 Lamar Jackson — This was a no-brainer in a QB-flex, where league scoring (only four points per passing TD, one point every 25 passing yards) favors running QBs.
.11 Brian Thomas — Thomas is a monster, and he should score enough touchdowns and rack up enough big plays that the half-PPR doesn’t cut into his value much.
.2 De’Von Achane — I’m not really on Achane at the 1-2 turn where he typically goes in the NFFC, but in Round 3, it was an easy call.
.11 Tyreek Hill — I don’t know if Hill is going down the Antonio Brown path, but he was hurt last year, as was Tua Tagovailoa, and he’s still one of the fastest players in the league and a sure-fire Hall of Famer.
.2 Tetairoa McMillan — I don’t know who this guy is (I pay zero attention to college football), but I do know he was the first receiver taken in the draft, and the Panthers, whose passing game improved last year, don’t have much else.
.11 Justin Fields — In a running-favorable QB-flex format, Fields really should go in the first 50 picks, even on the Jets.
.2 J.J. McCarthy — Another running QB who will be a valuable trade chip for me if he gets off to a decent start. But you really want at least three QBs in this format anyway, due to byes and injuries.
.11 Calvin Ridley — He’s far and away Cam Ward’s No. 1 target, could easily see 150 looks this year.
.2 D’Andre Swift — Not someone I was targeting, but he was the top RB by NFFC ADP on the board, and I had only Achane so far.
.11 Colston Loveland — Top TE by NFFC ADP, and I needed one. I have no idea how the targets will be distributed after DJ Moore and Rome Odunze.
.2 Jake Ferguson — I needed a second TE in case Loveland flops, and Ferguson is one.
.11 Trey Benson — I’m thin at RB, so I wanted to get some upside options if and when Achane and D'Andre Soft get hurt.
.2 Bhayshul Tuten — The Jaguars RB rotation is not totally set, and Tuten seems to have some upside if he gets a shot.
.11 Jaylen Wright — Some Achane insurance.
.2 Hollywood Brown — He’s good when he’s healthy, and Rashee Rice is likely to miss some time with a suspension.
.11 Jacory Croskey-Merritt — The Washington backfield has an ordinary grunt in Brian Robinson and a geriatric Austin Ekeler — might be time for some new blood.
.2 Woody Marks — Joe Mixon is banged up, and Marks is in the mix to replace him early on.
.11 Bills Defense — they were the highest left on the board per NFFC ADP, and I needed one.
.2 Oronde Gadsden — I’m old enough to have drafted his father. But Gadsden, junior, is creating some buzz in camp in a pass-catching corps that lacks depth.
.11 Patriots defense — I realized too late the Bills play the Ravens, so I probably won’t want to use them Week 1. The Pats draw the Raiders.

Super glad you did this. Doing same exact setup but with dynasty format. Lamar Jackson so fun to have in fantasy, despite being a Steeler fan.
