Week 3: Guess The Lines
I went 3-2 in the Circa Million last week, winning with the Jaguars, Packers and Lions, but losing with the Ravens and Titans. That puts me at 5-5, about 1.5 games off where I need to be.
Here’s my *preliminary* take on this week’s slate:
At first glance, I have a lot of strong leans. I love the Steelers getting five points in Cleveland Thursday night, as I think these are roughly equal teams. I also like the Panthers getting three at home against the Saints — Jameis Winston is bad and playing hurt.
I have the Texans as a pick ‘em against the Bears, and they too are getting three. Maybe it’s the sucker play, but six seems like a big line for the Vikings against a game Lions team. And much as I despise Carson Wentz, the Eagles laying six and a half on the road seems heavy.
I also like the Pats, Bengals and Packers to a lesser extent.
