Week 7 Circa Millions Picks
I finalized my picks just now, and I’m feeling okay about them. I really wanted to take the Broncos -1, but it’s unclear whether Russell Wilson will play. They’ve been a disaster so far, but I still believe in Wilson, and the defense is legitimately good. If Wilson is cleared, maybe I’ll just bet it Monday night, but I couldn’t lock it in if Brett Rypien turns out to be the starter.
I scrambled a bit to find a replacement. I considered the Bucs -11 (the line is up to 13 now after the Christian McCaffrey trade, part due to missing McCaffrey and part due to waving the white flag), but hesistated. I blew it with the closing line value on the Bucs last week in Pittsburgh, and I could see the Panthers defense keeping it close enough.
One other issue, before I get to the picks, is for God knows what reason, I said I was 21-19, but how could I possibly be 21-19 picking five games per week for six weeks? It has to add up to 30. So I’m actually 16-14 which is better, but still rougly four games off the pace.
