I’ve been meaning to write a post on my NFL futures bets, but I’ve been unable to place them because my old DraftKings account is tied to my defunct liss@rotowire.com email address, and their inept customer support kept telling me to log in and change it, even though I keep telling them I can’t log in!
Finally, they changed it, but my account is now locked, and they keep telling me to log in via their secure link, but that too does not work. Part of the problem is they don’t respond right away, so I can’t have a real-time conversation with one person, either.
I was going to use the CircaSports Colorado app, but I hate using the phone for things like this, the UI isn’t great and the process by which you deposit money seems sketchy — there’s this VIP link and a couple others, and I’m not keen on giving them my social security number, among other things, before I know what the rake is on depositing and withdrawing money about which they are not upfront. So I’m waiting on DraftKings, but I’m leaving for Lisbon tomorrow, so who knows, if this will get resolved in time. Basically, I just want to give them my fucking money, and these idiots won’t take it!
That said, I have access to the odds via the CircaApp, and I’ll write about the bets I’d like to make, whether or not I actually make them. This is kind of cowardly and worthless, because talk is cheap, and it’s not until you lay out real money that your opinions count for anything, but if I want to write a post before I leave tomorrow, this will have to do.
But first, a few photos of Colorado:

New York Giants 26:1 $200

New England Patriots 9:1 $100
I might make a few others and will tally all of them up on this year’s P/L spread sheet. Assuming DK ever unlocks my account, that is.
These are always fun. And as a Patriots fan, that outcome, albeit unlikely, would be glorious. That said, I don’t mind the idea of Rodgers doing well and watching the heads of media members implode.
Why is your DK account locked? I’m sure you’ve mentioned it, and I’m forgetting -- or missed it.
