In the league where I won regular season, I posted my lowest score of the season by far and was jettisoned from the playoffs. There is a LOT of blame to go around, but not MY decision making :). Barkley, Higgins, Etienne and Devante Adams, are all dead to me. Also, I have to disagree with Joseph about Kicker and Defense. Like any other position, there is data that can justify the rankings, albeit much less so than other positions. Two of the leagues I play in are coming up on 30 year anniversaries, and to change the format now would be a crime against time. If you brought up a rule change like eliminating K/D or adding IDP, you would be ridiculed and forced to buy rounds of drinks. Finally, if picking K/D is truly random, then how can it possibly be time consuming. Throw a dart.
I like kicker and D too for the same reason. It's more random, but not entirely. I'm in a couple without, and they're fine too, but no need to, for example, get rid of it in the NFFC.
Thanks… I’m up 74pts for Most Points and Best Record against my Friend Mike Schopp who has James Connor tonight in Beat Chris Liss 2 in the NFFC, I’m getting on that airplane….I felt like I was handed that championship on a Silver Platter though… Austin Ekeler fell to me at 7th overall, somehow I got Derek Henry in the 2nd round, and I think you took Etienne in the 3rd round right before me, which allowed me to STEAL Nick Chubb in the 3rd round… and thank God I love OLIVES, I picked Chris Olave in the 9th round because I like Olives, I never heard of the guy, it’s that EASY…
Why shouldn’t Tyreke Hill get those yards.... He ran them, RIGHT? When teams do that lateral play at the end of games... the players are always awarded those yards and fumbles accordingly... so why should he not get warded those yards? ... And when can we finally get rid of Kickers and Defense in Fantasy? I’ve been advocating for this for over a decade now... it’s very RANDOM and very TIME consuming... Can’t one of these High Stakes companies RUN A CONTEST that does not involve kickers and defense, is that not possible in the year 2023? And whatever happened to the Elias Sports Bureau? Did everyone finally realize Elias was just some fat degenerate gambling fuck who lived in his parents basement, and this dude Elias was the guy DECIDING our fantasy and gambling faiths... nobody ever checked Elias’s CREDENTIALS... Hey… we need a CHEAT SHEET (LIST) of players who “CRY WOLF” Example… Josh Jacobs a few weeks ago was QUESTIONABLE, Then plays and puts up one of the BEST Rushing days in Fantasy Football History … like 48points… I benched Jacobs that week and started Cordarrelle Patterson because I had NO OTHER OPTIONS for 4pm… it cost me $10k… DK Metcalf EVERY WEEK says he’s QUESTIONABLE and goes out and PLAYS EVERY WEEK…. We need the CRY WOLF CHEAT SHEET LIST Next year… and we need the LITTLE BITCH LIST… guys who are ALWAYS HURT.. Example Michael Thomas, Jerry Jeudy, George Brittle, Raheem MostHURT, etc… GUYS WHO NEVER PLAY and even when they do, THEY SUCK! … I also started Tyler Huntley and BENCHED Trevor Lawrence, Lawrence is a CRY WOLF GUY… he had a stubbed toe and fucked me out of $1k and an FFPC championship this week… Tee Higgins shall be on the Lil’ BITCH list… you like my idea?
there are a few players that make your life harder. One way to mitigate is, all things equal, draft east coast. And avoid the west coast always dealing with injury types.
