"Washington Indigenous Peoples" got me really good lol.
Rashee Rice was my 5th highest owned player in Best Ball at 29%, so it could potentially be a frugal Christmas in the Datderfranny household.
I did manage to cash for $3075 on $54 worth of entries in DFS this week though, so that will soften some of the blow to the Rice bags. Since I started actively seeking out rake-free tournaments a couple seasons ago, I've started doing so much better in DFS. Who knew that eliminating or drastically reducing rake would have a positive effect on ROI??
I would suggest anyone still playing DFS to do some searching for these tournaments as the rake that Draftkings is charging for every other tournament is ludicrous and unsustainable. 18-19% (!!!) for the 20 and under tournaments, and even 11% for the high dollar stuff. I really think it's insulting and until people decide not to play, or start seeking alternatives like the rake-free stuff, nothing will change. At this point, I feel like Draftkings is part of the cabal and a small cog in the movement to get the nation in massive CC debt.
There are two rake-free tournaments that I know of, a 5 dollar 5 entry max and a 10 dollar 5 entry max. I won't give the names here, but you can find them if you look hard enough. I run a few lineups and then throw them in the massive 3 dollar just in case I hit the absolute, once in a 100 lifetimes, nuts. Gets my effective rake down to less than 3%.
nice win! Rake free makes a huge difference over time. I don't play DFS anymore because they don't let you from overseas. Probably for the best as I hate rooting for and against the whole league.
